Private Water Network Flash Webinar Series: Corrosive Water, Lead and Copper in Private Water Supplies

In this webinar, Bryan Swistock will discuss corrosive water as one of the most common water quality problems occurring in water wells, springs and cisterns affecting more than 50% of these water supplies in some areas. Corrosive water can cause damage to metal components of the plumbing system and can cause dangerous levels of copper, lead, and other metals to be dissolved in drinking water. But corrosive water problems can be some of the most complicated and difficult water quality problems to diagnose and treat. This webinar will describe how corrosive water, lead, and copper are measured, how frequently they occur, and how they can be managed in private drinking water supplies.
